Custom Process
Design and Scale Shop Drawings
When you do a custom project with us, we make sure the details are not overlooked. We will begin the project by drawing up the scaled plans by hand and going over the overall look and design. You'll get to choose the wood type that best fits your taste and budget, as well as stain or solid color. At this stage with your imagination and our expertise we'll make sure the project will come out just like you envisioned.
Engineering
After you approve the design, we'll begin the engineering part of the project. This is a very important step in our process to ensure that the chosen design will work with current site conditions. This process takes anywhere from a couple of hours to a few days depending on the size of the project
Fabrication
The next step is to cut, shape, and assemble the engineered parts. We pay upmost attention to this process to make sure the parts we produce come out straight and square. This ensures the workability of every single piece of hardware. We take pride in our craftsmanship, therefore everything we build meets and beats the standards of modern cabinetmaking.
Finishing
We then finish the assembled cabinets, drawers, and doors with the color or stain of your choice. All the finishing is done in our shop. We care about the environment, therefore we use environmentally friendly, very high quality, water based spray varnish. The finish is rated better than many of the old-style lacquers and varnishes. Our cabinetry and furniture will not have a strong or unpleasant smell, which can be harmful to children, pets and those with sensitivities.
Installation
We will then schedule the installation date. This is the most important part. This is where your project will come to life! Whether it is a small niche or full size kitchen we'll make sure everything is installed properly and carefully, paying close attention to not damage anything in your home. We'll make sure all your concerns are met at this time as well.
